Hear Jesus

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them.”

“And He was saying, 'He who has ears to hear, let him hear'.”

This is the summary of all that has gone before.

Again, Christianity is not the religion that is found in the Catholic, Protestant, and Ecumenical churches! This is a strong statement, but it's true.

The gravity of this reality is compounded by the fact that the essential message of Jesus Christ, that He Himself emphatically revealed, is not so much as properly taught, let alone made the focus and goal of the churches. By the Spirit of God through Matthew, Luke, and Mark, Jesus declared the primal holy requirements of His Father to all men! This was done in such a way as to clearly reveal that these requirements are indeed fundamental in possessing the life of God. At the high point of the fulfillment of His own call and the readiness of His disciples, Jesus fixed the paramount will of God upon all men. That will was manifested in three primary issues of life. They are not the only concerns of eternal life. Nor are they the only very important concerns of life. However, they are utterly indispensable to life and fellowship with God! They must be attributes of all believers’ lives. The Father and the Son made that very clear. It does not matter what other qualities a person has, if he/she does not possess these essential characteristics, he is not a follower of Jesus -- not a true disciple -- not a Christian. The remedy against sin is that the sheep of Jesus hear His voice and do not follow – or continue to follow – a stranger. And, the work that the Father starts, He finishes! The three emphasized iniquities that separate people from God are adultery, self-importance, and the service of Mammon. These conditions of sin typify sinful humanity.

Jesus said that if you are divorced from your (living) original spouse and married to someone else or are married to a person who is divorced from his/her (living) original spouse, you are in a state of marital adultery! You cannot enter the Kingdom of God!

Jesus said that if you do not receive His rule like a newborn babe receives his mother’s milk or like a small child receives the instructions of his parents, you are not humble issuing into obedience -- you do not have the humility necessary to obey His commandments! You cannot enter the Kingdom of God!

Jesus said that if you keep your money and/or possessions for yourself - wholly or mainly -  and do not sacrificially give from them to the needy, you love and serve Mammon rather than God! You cannot enter the Kingdom of God!

It does not matter if you are a so-called pastor who, in addition to living by your interpretation of the Bible, has written scores of books and commentaries, taught many seminars on “Christianity”, built many churches, done significant humanitarian work, rescued errant leaders and “lay people”, labored long into the night with oppressed people, etc., etc., etc. It does not matter if you are a lowly person who doesn’t “hurt” anybody but tries to live a correct life according to the teachings of your church. Nor does it matter if you strive to obey everything else in the Scriptures. If you do not possess these three characteristics as named by Jesus, in the very nature and to the very degree that He requires, then you are living a false-Christianity. You are outside of Jesus Christ. The remedy against this prevailing condition is, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart!” “Repent, and be converted and be healed.” “Believe in God!”

For nearly two millennia the churches have corrupted the Word of God, teaching a different Jesus and another gospel. The machinery of deception rolls on. Even so, the sheep of Jesus hear His voice and do not hear and follow a stranger. Everyone that the Father gives to Jesus follows Jesus. All of His people submit to His commandments. Only in such submission is the Love of God manifested!

“And He cried out, 'He who has ears to hear, let him hear'.”
