Yes, with one exception. This exception is truly a special case. It is the exceptional exception.
This state awaits fulfillment in the lives of all disciples of Jesus who have not died. It is the inheritance of the entry into the third heaven of God. This realm is also known as Paradise.
Paradise means an enclosure, a park, a place of delight and peace. Like the word heaven, it has several levels, several applications.
In writing to the Corinthians, Paul referred to a revelation that he had wherein he was so transported to the heights of God that he did not know if his soul was removed from his body or not. But one thing he did know and reveal. The reality of the realm of the highest region of Paradise, which he also termed the third heaven, was so lofty and transcendent that is was a sin to speak of such things among mankind. The realm that awaits us is of such a divine nature that the thought processes of humans cannot lawfully attain to it. One thing you can be sure of; the depictions of people about the nature of this existence in heaven have not been and cannot be revealed. The experience and the understanding of this glorious existence awaits the arrival of its inheritors.
What has been revealed is that all of God’s eternal purposes for humanity upon the earth, which He purposed in Christ Jesus before He created the universe, have been fulfilled.
What has not been revealed is the sublime existence that awaits God’s chosen when we go home to be with the Lord, when we leave this earth for our permanent abode in the upper region of Paradise, the third Heaven of God!
Glory to God in the Highest!
