What Kind of Kingdom is this?

What kind of kingdom is the Kingdom of God? What is the nature of this kingdom?

Immortal! Eternal! Spiritual! These adjectives sum up the nature of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said to the unbeliever Pilate, “My Kingdom is not of the world. If it were, My servants would take up arms. My Kingdom is not of this realm.”

He said to the unbelieving Pharisees, “The Kingdom of God is not coming with signs that can be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.” He also said to false disciples, “The words that I have spoken to you are spirit, and are life. But there are some of you who do not believe.”

We who believe in Jesus are participants in God’s Kingdom. We walk in the Spirit. We talk in the Spirit. We hear in the Spirit. We see in the Spirit. We are filled with the fruit and gifts of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We abide upon the mountain and within the city of the Living God. It is here that we worship the Great King with the heavenly hosts. It is here that we bring our honor into the Eden of God. We are all sons of Light; a kingdom of priests; the planting of the Lord; living stones in the house of God; and members of the body of Christ.

The Kingdom of God is not of the world. It cannot be observed with the natural eyes. It is part and parcel with the Eternal Heaven and Earth. It is within us. It consists in the living words of Jesus, Who is Himself the Word of God. Nothing foreign is within this kingdom, for all of its citizens are clothed and crowned with the very righteousness of Jesus Christ. These are the ransomed of God, purchased with the atoning and redeeming blood of the Passover, Jesus Christ.

The Kingdom of God is Immortal, Eternal, and Spiritual!

Glory to God in the Highest!

Jahveh is all in all!

Amen!
